Personalized for your child

Treasure Hunt Expedition

The map arrives first. What it leads to has been waiting a very long time.

An expedition run entirely inside your home: a map that has to be read properly, riddles that hide their answers in plain sight, discovery stations set up around the house, team challenges between the legs of the hunt, and a chest that finally opens at the end of it.

The signature moment · 8:30 PM

At 8:30 PM, the last clues finally combine.

At 8:30 PM the crew opens the sealed Mystery Envelope and discovers that the clues they have been collecting all evening only make sense together. They lay them out, realise the location has been under their noses the whole time, and open the chest with every single person watching.

The feeling here is being the one who figures it out — and then finding something real at the end of it, not a pretend prize but a chest that actually opens.

Inside the experience

What the night includes

  • A themed welcome moment Explorers are met at the door with a personalized treasure passport, an illustrated map bearing their name, a printable explorer badge, a name label and a fold-and-tuck coin wallet they assemble for whatever the night gives them.
  • Age-appropriate hunt and challenges Map reading, riddles, hidden-object searches, discovery stations, compass work and team challenges between the legs of the hunt, pitched to the age edition you choose.
  • Food and drink ideas A base-camp spread, gold-coin treats, an expedition punch and a lantern-lit drink for the walk back — chosen around the foods your child (or children) actually reach for first.
  • Experience Cards Clue cards and expedition cards handed out leg by leg, so the map gives up its secrets in stages rather than all at once.

Everything here is created after you order, then emailed to you as an editable Canva file with print-ready PDFs you print at home — nothing is posted. It is written for one to eight children and personalized from the details you share, so the final experience varies according to what you tell us.

Made for their age

Built for where they are

Ages 8–10

A proper multi-stage hunt with wordplay, a map to orient and clues that only combine at the end.

  • Riddles with real wordplay — rhymes, double meanings and one clue that reads as nonsense until you are standing in the right room.
  • A map they must orient themselves, turning it to match the house before the landmarks line up.
  • Hidden objects spread across rooms, logged on the passport as each one is recovered.

Questions about Treasure Hunt Expedition

Yes, and it is one of the most common setups we write for. Tell us how many rooms you are happy to use and the hunt is rebuilt around them: fewer locations, more layers per location, clues hidden vertically as well as horizontally, and a route that revisits rooms with the meaning changed. A three-room hunt done properly beats a whole-house hunt done thinly.

You supply what goes in the chest, and we tell you exactly what works. The design leans on the printable keepsakes that are already part of the experience — the commendation, the printable coins, the coin wallet, the badge — so you are not obliged to buy anything extra. If you would rather add something of your own, tell us what you have in mind and we will write the final clue and the reveal around it.

It can. Tell us you have a garden, roughly how big it is, and whether it will be dark by then, and we will write an outdoor leg with lighting guidance, clear boundaries agreed out loud before the first clue, and weather-safe hiding places. There is always an indoor version of every outdoor leg included, because the forecast is not personalizable.

The hunt itself is the spine of the evening rather than a single block — typically an hour to ninety minutes of active searching, broken into legs with challenges, food and rest between them, so it carries from arrival to the reveal. You can stretch it or shorten it on the night: the running order marks which legs are optional and which clue jumps straight to the chest if the group is flagging.
