They have been selected. The clock starts the moment the envelope is opened.
One night of clearance-level access: code names issued at the door, training exercises that get harder as the evening goes on, a coded message only this team can read, a laser-style corridor to get through without touching a beam, and a timed mission that has to be finished before lights-out.
At the signature moment the team opens the sealed Mystery Envelope and finds a coded message with its cipher key. They work the cipher, open the evidence envelopes in order and follow the numbered markers around the house, and the whole thing has to be finished before the countdown runs out and the file closes.
The thrill here is not danger — it is being trusted with something secret and important, and then discovering you are equal to it. The tension is dialled precisely to the age you choose.
Inside the experience
What the night includes
A themed welcome moment— Agents are met at the door with a printable agent passport, a welcome card from their handler, a printable ID badge to clip or tie on, a name label and their code name — issued or earned, with the host guide marking where to simplify for younger guests and where to add challenge for older ones.
The training and challenges— Training exercises, observation drills, a laser-style beam corridor, cipher work, evidence sorting and a timed field test, with the host guide marking where to simplify for younger guests and where to add challenge for older ones.
Food and drink ideas— A briefing-room spread, blacked-out ration packs, a red-and-black sharing board and a stand-down drink for the debrief — with swaps listed for picky eaters and every common allergy.
Experience Cards— Clue cards, intel cards and challenge cards handed out as the mission unfolds, so the intelligence arrives in pieces rather than all at once.
Everything here arrives as print-ready PDFs with fill-in fields on the pages that need them, so you can add names, dates and details yourself before printing at home. Nothing is posted. It is written for a group of up to 16 guests, and the print-prep table walks you through which pages to print and how many copies.
Choose your ending
One kit. Two ways to end the night.
3 to 4 hours, no overnight
Party Path
Run the full Core Experience, follow the closing sequence, and have everyone ready for pickup. A complete themed party that ends at a sensible hour and leaves your house intact.
Core Experience plus overnight and morning
Sleepover Path
Everything in the Party Path, then keep going. Pajamas, movie and lounge time, snacks, bedtime, a slow morning, breakfast and pickup, all planned the same way the evening was.
Not sure yet? Choose on the night. Nothing you print or buy is wasted either way.
How it fits
Guided, Classic or Independent
Same night, three levels of host support. You pick the one that fits the group in front of you, and you can switch between them at any point in the evening.
More support
Guided
You explain more, demonstrate more, check in more often, and stay hands-on throughout. Good for a younger group, a first sleepover, or guests who don't know each other yet.
Balanced support
Classic
You introduce what guests need to know, help where it's useful, then give them room to take part on their own. Start here if you're not sure.
More guest independence
Independent
You set the expectations, the hygiene and the safety boundaries clearly, then let guests run more of the night themselves while you stay available.
Different guests can need different levels on the same night, and you never announce which one you're using. Guests just experience the night.

Before the night
What you will need
A printer, regular paper, scissors, and a short shopping list of inexpensive supplies. The host guide gives you quantities and a cheaper substitution for every item. Cardstock is worth it for the photo booth props and the cut-out cards if you have it, but plain paper works for everything. The games themselves need nothing but what is already in your house.

Questions about Secret Agent Mission
They don't have to. Timers are optional throughout: every timed challenge has a written untimed version, the limits are generous, retries are built in, and the mission is designed so the team always finishes. Running late simply changes how the debrief reads. There's also a no-clock role written into the mission for any guest who finds pressure hard.
No. It is ribbon, yarn or crepe streamers taped across a hallway, plus a torch if you want the beams to catch the light. We tell you how much to buy, how to tape it so it peels off cleanly, and how to string it low, wide and away from stairs, corners and anything glass. Nothing electrical, nothing to hire.
There are 3 difficulties printed on the cipher cards, so you pick on the night. The easiest is a picture key: match the symbol, find the letter, with an adult reading alongside. The middle one is a genuine substitution cipher, solvable by a group in about 10 minutes with the key card. The hardest is a keyed substitution plus a grid code split across separate cards, built to take real effort. If your children already do puzzles for fun, start at the top.
Yes, and they won't feel carried. The picture-key route runs on symbols, colors and objects rather than text, the handler's messages are written to be read aloud, and the roles that matter most at that age, spotting, matching, crawling the beams and carrying the evidence, need no reading at all. The host guide marks which cards to use for a pre-reader.
Questions about the kit
As much or as little as you want. There is a lot in this kit and you are not expected to print all of it. The print-prep table walks through every page, what it is for, and how many copies you would want, so you can pick the pieces that fit your night and skip the rest. Print the essentials this year and come back for the extras next time.
No. Everything works on a regular home printer and regular paper. A few pieces hold up better on cardstock, especially the photo booth props and the cut-out cards, because kids wave those around all night. That is a nice-to-have, not a requirement.
That is exactly who it is written for. The host guide walks the night in order, gives a duration for each part, and gives you the words to say. You are never asked to make something up on the spot.
Ages 8 through tween, in one kit. This age range is where the activities actually land: old enough to run parts of the night themselves, young enough to still love the whole thing. The host guide shows you where to add more support or more independence depending on the guest.
Yes. It is yours to print as many times as you want for your own family's parties. Please do not resell it, share the files, or use it to run parties as a business.
Not right now. We paused personalized experiences to focus on getting the kits right. The kit has fill-in fields on the pages that need them, so you can add names and details yourself.
