The signature moment

At the moment you choose, the lagoon gives up what it took.

At the signature moment the sealed Mystery Envelope is opened and the Today's Mission card names what the lagoon has lost beneath the surface. The children follow the trail of pearls and shells from room to room, reading each marker aloud, until the whole evening turns into one shared story with an ending they find themselves.

This one trades adrenaline for enchantment and shine. It is the feeling of being called somewhere beautiful, with your friends, and being trusted with the reason why.

What the night includes

  • A themed welcome moment — Guests are met at the water's edge with a printed mermaid passport bearing their name, a welcome card from the lagoon, a printable name tag and a single pearl from the shells you set out, to keep until they know what it is for.
  • The lagoon activities — Pearl finding, shell sorting, tide challenges, creature care, current-reading puzzles and a making session at the shore, with the host guide marking where to simplify for younger guests and where to add challenge for older ones.
  • Food and drink ideas — A shimmering lagoon punch, a shoreline sharing board, sea-glass treats and a bedtime drink served by lantern light — with swaps listed for picky eaters and every common allergy.
  • Experience Cards — Cards handed out for the moments earned through the night — the first pearl found, the creature helped, the tide read correctly — so the story arrives in pieces instead of all at once.

Everything here arrives as print-ready PDFs with fill-in fields on the pages that need them, so you can add names, dates and details yourself before printing at home. Nothing is posted. It is written for a group of up to 16 guests, and the print-prep table walks you through which pages to print and how many copies.

What you will need

A printer, regular paper, scissors, and a short shopping list of inexpensive supplies. The host guide gives you quantities and a cheaper substitution for every item. Cardstock is worth it for the photo booth props and the cut-out cards if you have it, but plain paper works for everything. The games themselves need nothing but what is already in your house.

Questions about Mermaid Lagoon Night

No. The lagoon is built from fabric, lighting, shells and story rather than actual water, so everything stays dry and indoors. If you do have a pool or a garden and want a wet element, the host guide includes a short outdoor water leg with the safety points to agree out loud first.

Not at all. The lagoon is an ocean world of divers, tide-readers, treasure and sea creatures, and every role is written to welcome any guest. The roles come from a full set rather than a default one, and the fill-in fields let you add the names and titles before you print.

They are the currency of the night. Pearls are found, earned and traded through the challenges, then collected into the mission at the end — which is why they double as keepsakes. We tell you exactly how many to gather, where to hide them and what to do if one goes missing under the sofa.

Questions about the kit

As much or as little as you want. There is a lot in this kit and you are not expected to print all of it. The print-prep table walks through every page, what it is for, and how many copies you would want, so you can pick the pieces that fit your night and skip the rest. Print the essentials this year and come back for the extras next time.

No. Everything works on a regular home printer and regular paper. A few pieces hold up better on cardstock, especially the photo booth props and the cut-out cards, because kids wave those around all night. That is a nice-to-have, not a requirement.

That is exactly who it is written for. The host guide walks the night in order, gives a duration for each part, and gives you the words to say. You are never asked to make something up on the spot.

Ages 8 through tween, in one kit. This age range is where the activities actually land: old enough to run parts of the night themselves, young enough to still love the whole thing. The host guide shows you where to add more support or more independence depending on the guest.
