At the signature moment the sealed Mystery Envelope is opened and the workshop closes for the evening showing. The children arrange their pieces with display cards naming each maker, light the lantern beside the table, then walk the table together and look properly at what everyone made.

This is the calmest experience on the list, and deliberately so. There is no winner, no timer and no comparison — just making something with your hands alongside your friends, and taking it home.

What the night includes

  • A themed welcome moment — Makers are met at a printable welcome sign you print with a camp passport bearing their name, a printable creator badge, a printable name badge and their own supplies laid out at their place — the bags and baskets come from your supplies list.
  • The making projects — Several projects with the host guide marking where to simplify for younger guests and where to add challenge for older ones, laid out as stations — threading, paper flowers, bag decorating, bracelets, journals, weaving or stitching — each with its own supplies and card.
  • Food and drink ideas — A snack spread that survives sticky fingers, a jug drink kept safely away from the work, and a warm one for the quiet stretch near the end — with swaps listed for picky eaters and every common allergy.
  • Experience Cards — Craft challenge cards handed out at each station with step-by-step guidance, a variation for anyone who finishes early and a simpler route for anyone who would rather not.

Everything here arrives as print-ready PDFs with fill-in fields on the pages that need them, so you can add names, dates and details yourself before printing at home. Nothing is posted. It is written for a group of up to 16 guests, and the print-prep table walks you through which pages to print and how many copies.

What you will need

A printer, regular paper, scissors, and a short shopping list of inexpensive supplies. The host guide gives you quantities and a cheaper substitution for every item. Cardstock is worth it for the photo booth props and the cut-out cards if you have it, but plain paper works for everything. The games themselves need nothing but what is already in your house.

Questions about Craft Camp Sleepover

You buy them, and we make that as painless as we can. The supply list is split into what is almost certainly already in your house and what is worth picking up, with quantities worked out per child, notes on what can be halved or substituted, and honest guidance on which items are worth spending on and which are not. Nothing on the list is specialist or hard to find.

Less than you are imagining, because it is designed around a covered table rather than a studio. Materials are chosen to be washable and low-drip, the wet projects are grouped so only one area needs protecting, and each station tells you what to lay down first. There is also a written low-mess version of every project if you would rather not have paint or glue in the room at all.

This experience is largely written for them. Nothing is judged, nothing is compared and no project has a correct outcome, so there is no way to be bad at it. The structured projects — bracelets, threading, weaving, the kindness craft — give that child clear steps to follow rather than a blank page, which is usually the thing that puts them off. They tend to be the ones still making at the end.

Less than you would for a game-based night, and it drops as the evening goes on. You demonstrate each station once, then the challenge cards do the instructing and children work independently. With younger guests expect to help with knots, taping and anything sharp. With older ones you're mostly refilling snacks and admiring things. The display moment is the only part that needs you back in the room properly.

As much or as little as you want. There is a lot in this kit and you are not expected to print all of it. The print-prep table walks through every page, what it is for, and how many copies you would want, so you can pick the pieces that fit your night and skip the rest. Print the essentials this year and come back for the extras next time.

No. Everything works on a regular home printer and regular paper. A few pieces hold up better on cardstock, especially the photo booth props and the cut-out cards, because kids wave those around all night. That is a nice-to-have, not a requirement.

That is exactly who it is written for. The host guide walks the night in order, gives a duration for each part, and gives you the words to say. You are never asked to make something up on the spot.

Ages 8 through tween, in one kit. This age range is where the activities actually land: old enough to run parts of the night themselves, young enough to still love the whole thing. The host guide shows you where to add more support or more independence depending on the guest.
